The Bi-Color LED Block holds a bi-color 5mm LED. This component is a great way to explore and learn about polarity - in one configuration, the LED will glow RED and when the polarity is reversed it will glow GREEN. A 50 Ohm resistor is soldered in series with the LED, making it suitable for operation at 3 volts.
