CSA PGH
CSA PGH
Community Supported Art Pittsburgh (CSA PGH) - was co-founded in 2013 by Casey Droege, Corey Escoto, Kilolo Luckett, and Blaine Siegel. Now organized by Casey Droege Cultural Productions, CSA PGH seeks to support artists by commissioning several artists each year to create editions that are grouped and sold to the public as “shares”
We participate in 2017 and designed and produced an edition of receptacle nightlights. Made out of a variety of hardwoods, this object shines light through the receptacle openings and can be adjusted by a side-mounted dimmer. This project served as a springboard for our own foray into designing and producing objects that blur between art, design, and commerce.
