We had the opportunity to show our work in an exhibition at Open House Contemporary in Chicago. This unique gallery inside a working BNB allowed us to continue our experimentation with the the relationship between art / design and functional / non-functional objects. The site contributes another layer to this blur as it oscillates between gallery / domestic setting.
Parts of this exhibition—the chandelier—are on semi-permanent loan. Growing from this project was a commission for the design of custom clothes hangers for the bedrooms. The theme of subtle but permanent interaction in spaces remains a pursuit we look for opportunities to explore.
