The Gearmotor Block contains a tiny DC motor with a high quality metal gearbox attached. It is fascinating to be able to watch the gears spin and see the reduction in speed of rotation from one gear to the next. The output of the shaft has a remarkable amount of torque! The reduction ratio is 1:275 and at 3VDC the speed of rotation is approximately 26 RPM.
