2004This video was made by mounting a basketball to the wall with an armature and pin, so that it could be spun. The camera framed the one half of the ball where the armature was not visible. The ball was spun, came to a stop, and was spun again - this was repeated. The video signal was split and played through two monitors, the second monitor rotated 180 degrees to fill in for the half of the ball that was covered by the armature. A clear acrylic sheet was painted black, with a window and center divider left clear for the video monitors to be mounted behind.
