An iteration within the longstanding interest in the relationship of noise to color. This extended this organization into one based on color and spectrum. There is no defined noise for the colors of yellow and indigo, so the black boxes serve as markers for those colors. Each speaker played the specific color variation from the noise generator and amplifier housed in the corresponding color metal enclosure on the floor.
