This is probably the most complicated piece we have made to date. The idea came about when we realized that we could use what we learned bending our conduit to form the frame of the chair. That’s when the difficulty began — going from a 6” radius to a 2.5” radius required us to reengineer the way we bend forms and it forced us to push beyond our knowledge limits to learn more. This is a great example of something that is essential to our practice — creating difficult challenges to solve.
