Artists Image Resource
"Keep this Coupon" is a series of encounters that will connect presentations of current projects by working artists with exhibitions of related content from the Artists Image Resource print archive. These small events will be complemented by actions that will include hands-on making activities that further inform the work on display.
Each of these events will be open to the public with a requested RSVP to effectively organize activities throughout the studio (space is limited).

Step 1
Building off of some of our past work, we’re beginning by making a few selections of utilitarian objects in the space and replacing them with new functional versions made from wood. Hidden in plain sight, they are meant to subtly call attention to the functioning of the space.
Step 2
The first 2020 Action is scheduled for Saturday February 29 and will include an exhibiton of work from AIR's Golden Cage Portfolio Project, an exhibition of Work from the AIR archive, and a currently being printed event/performance.
The portfolio includes work by artists Robert Hodge (HOU), Robert Williams (NYC), Maritza Mosquera (PGH), Darrell Kinsel (PGH), Quaishawn Whitlock (PGH) and Bekezela Mguni (PGH).
Work from the AIR archive will be curated by artists Mark Franchino and Jeremy Boyle and curator Vicky A. Clark and includes work by Nick Bubash, John Charley, Ron Desmett, James Duesing, William Fick, Stefan Hoffmann, Glenn Kaino, Tim Kaulen, Ayanah Moor, John Ritter, Ben Schonberger, Christopher Sperandio and Simon Grennan.
Hands-on printing and demonstrations will be led by artists Jesse Caggiano, Matt George, Quaishawn Whitlock.
Step 3
Coming in May… an exhibition of new work by Jeremy Boyle & Mark Franchino, an exhibition of works from the archive curated by Delanie Jenkins, and more printing!!!
